Gold Coins and a cursed Man

by madnan.cb@gmail.com
I am telling you the story of a lusty and a cursed man. His name was Henry. Henry was a mean and selfish man. He was fond of earn money by cheating others. He never shared anything with the others. He used to pay a very little amount of wages to his servant. He also told a lot of lies to protect his savings.
However, he was taught a nice lesson by his own act.
One day, he missed a small bag, which contained 50 gold coins. He sent his workers to find the bag, but they could not. He requested his friends and neighbours to inform him if they found it. Henry was so sad that he had lost a lot of gold coins.

After some days, a 8 years old girl, who lived in nearby house, told her father that she had found a small bag containing 50 gold coins. Her father was the servant of Henry and was so honest that he returned the bag back to it's owner. Henry was happy to get the coins and decided to play a trick. He shouted at his worker that there were 100 coins in the bag and you gave me only 50 coins. The worker was shocked to hear this and told that he did not steal even a single coin but Henry did not accept it. They decided to take the issue to court to get the right judgment. The judge heard both the sides.

Judge asked the Henry 'are you sure that there were 100 coins in the bag?' Henry replied 'yes'.

Then the judge made his judgment, ‘Since Henry lost a bag with 100 gold coins, so the bag found by the girl which had only 50 coins doesn't belong to Henry. In addition, if anyone found a bag of 100 gold coins, I would let Henry know. Also, there were no claims against the loss of 50 coins and I order the girl and his father to take those 50 coins for their honesty!

Moral : Honesty is rewarded and greediness is punished
