Going Back

by purpletears
Kelly softly smiled as she tied a little blue ribbon in her dark hair. The young woman couldn’t help feeling happy. After spending a few months on a foreign country, she was back into her hometown. And not only so; she was about to meet someone very close to her heart. Kelly couldn´t help but wonder if he really missed her. Did he ever look at the sky, just wishing to be with her? Or maybe he just threw wild parties every single day, to celebrate his newfound freedom. Kelly was about to find it out. She walked faster, dying to know the truth. As the young lady caught a small glimpse of the little green house, where her boyfriend lived, Kelly´s heart skipped a beat. A very desired encounter was only a door away from her…So the only thing left to do was knocking that door…

“Hey, baby, thanks for coming”, a warm male voice greeted Kelly. She didn’t have to raise her head to know who the owner of that voice was. Thankfully, she was able to make it on time to the date with her special someone, the kind guy who showed him a sweet kind of feeling. Maybe he wasn´t the most handsome, or the most athletic boy in the world, so what? Into his arms, Kelly found a place to call home, and that was most important than all the gold in the world.
