A man told me that he lost about half a million dollars gambling jackpot machine(one armed bandit).I used to play it and maybe I've lost that amount of money. I now detest gambling. You are always losing when you gamble. Some persons gamble and win huge amounts of money and are now not happy. I used to think that this man was winning thousands of dollars at jackpot only to realize that he was losing his shirt. He told me afterwards that he had stopped playing as he was losing too much money. It was surprising to me as I remembered him winning several jackpots. Maybe he lost money when I was not around. Women were the biggest gamblers and probably the biggest winners.  Some of them were big losers. What really happened with women is that a friend will bring them there and encourage them to gamble. They gamble and win a big sum of money. The next evening they come to try their luck again. They keep trying, sometimes winning, sometimes losing and finally getting hooked. Sometimes I go to the betting shop to visit my friend. He is always losing but had no inclination to quit. Several women have told me that they have quit. It could be true because I no longer see them in that plaza. The End
