First Jealousy

by Cyneburg's Field
Maybe this is what jealousy feels
He’ll never be lonely without me
I guess it would be okay for us to be over
For the better.

I can live my normal life,
and he can replace me with anyone anytime.
And she’ll be a very lucky girl.

Maybe this is what jealousy feels.
Of feeling every needle in a tailoring shop
pinching their way through my heart. Of every stab blood overflows.
Of every stab, my heart digs holes.

He can have a new one.
Or he can go back to the old one.
I’m pretty sure
they’re both in love with him by the way.
So it doesn’t matter who.

Someone who could give him a galaxy
more beautiful than the Milky Way.
A galaxy with brighter and more lively stars.
Unlike our galaxy with the sun on it’s red phase.
Unlike our galaxy with black holes.
Unlike our galaxy that’s dying.

Maybe this is what jealousy feels.
