Fallen Angel

by Cyneburg's Field
Have I sinned, O Lord
For I have fallen
To him who have said
That You are not real?

Have I sinned, O Lord
For loving the man?
Who I've met and You've given
A sinner and prisoner
Of the knowledge of this world.

Have I sinned, O Lord
For hiding my wings
To live and be sinful
In this world's darkness?

If I have, O Lord,
Am I still worthy?
To receive thy forgiveness
And accept me again...

Carrying him above
Has never been easy
Flying with this wings
He's trying to destroy.

I beg, please, O Lord
Let me live in between
Let me carry him
Bring back the light
I used to live in.

Please
Let us live in the light...
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
