Enjoying Life

by purpletears
Smoke filled the air of that little place. It was almost midnight, the hour when the darkest passions come out to play. On a corner of that place, a young woman was drinking another glass of wine. She knew that maybe, at that time of night, maybe other folks her age, would be at home, spending some time with their families. But there she was, acting as if there were no tomorrow. The young lady knew that we have only one life, and it´s our duty to enjoy it to the fullest. What if others couldn´t
understand her? She wasn´t living just to please others. That woman was only trying to recover some of the joy she lost when fear kept her from enjoying the lighter side of life. Yes, some judgmental hearts were watching her. So what? The only thing she wanted to do that night was to shake the stress away. Maybe that girl wasn´t
a pop star, neither she attempted to look like one, but that night, she felt the world was her stage for her to shine. Nobody could stop her from smiling again. Yes, it was almost midnight, but for a young soul, the sun was shining again
