Chilling out on Rhyl beach

by MinPerring90
Going on holiday breaks can be fun and a great experience. At least the large majority of the time. Whether you are going solo or not. At least that was exactly what Paula had thought.

Paula was currently having her one week break alone in the heart of Wales. She had not been for a long time; ever since she was studying at college back in the 90s. She had felt really guilty for leaving behind her own family at home during the Easter holidays. But at the same time Paula thought she was greatly enjoying herself and wanted some time for herself to chill out.
She was staying at a holiday vacation at Rhyl. Rhyl was the exact place where Paula`s father, Mark Jones, spent his own childhood being raised by his parents and grew up in. Until he was fourteen years old and him and his family moved house to a rural area far away from his birthplace of Rhyl. To a little cottage in a rural area far away called Perton. At first he disliked the place but slowly grew fonder of Perton even though it did not even compare to living in Rhyl for him. It never would either.
Funnily enough Mark Jones ended up having and bringing up his own family there.

Thankfully the weather over there was currently spectacular for Paula. She was staying over at her and her families house located over in Rhyl. Only down the road from the stunning sandy beach in Rhyl. This late afternoon on her holiday she ended up spending the entire afternoon chilling out lazily at the beach. As well as doing a little bit of her shopping over in the town with some of her spending money.

By around six o clock she was sitting down on one of the wooden benches alongside the pier. Eating a delicious tasting Cornish creamy ice cream topped with a milk chocolate flake and chocolate sauce. Bought by the nearest Sidolis ice cream parlour. Only a little ten minute walking distance away from the sandy beach. She slowly watched the sea waves rolling by; slowly bringing the sea tide back in land. And spotted the light house from a long distance away. Beaches were always her favourite type of place to spend her time in.

After eating her ice cream she looked up into the orange coloured sky and saw the magnificent looking sunset above her. Where some pink coloured clouds darted by the sun. She then took out her camera and took a couple of pictures of the sunset and of the Rhyl beach. She knew that all of her family would love seeing her pictures when she returned home a few days later to her family.

It had been such a fantastic afternoon spent on the Rhyl beach, greatly chilling herself out from her home life.
