Bright Mind

Only a reckless mind,
of the kind that don't stop working,
not even at night.
That mind was really busy,
trying to make some sense out of the world.
What if others thought the owner of that bright mind
was totally crazy?
Their opinions hadn't affected him.
After all, that wise man knew that
those who think different,
are bound to being called crazy
at one point of their lives.
There was no time for drama;
as there was only a little time
to fill up that mind with pure knowledge.
After an eternity spent in the dark,
one bright day, the owner of that precious mind
got what he wanted.
There was no more fear of rejection;
as he finally realized that he was way above of those
who tried to break him down.
Those dark clouds of insecurity were finally gone;
A new star was shining brightly in the sky,
leaving everybody mesmerized with its beautiful light.
Such a beautiful thing, certainly, wasn't made on Earth
Poor silly human beings!
So unable to appreciate the greatness of those things
they can´t understand so easily!
They'd never see those little miracles reserved
to those willing to see with the heart, instead of
doing it with only the eyes.
