Birthday or Death day?

It was Harry's birthday the next day, and thus,the previous night he was agog,waiting for the clock to strike 00:00:00!
He sat gazing at the seconds needle of his watch.It was 23:59:00 and there was a minute more to happiness! His heart pounded faster than ever, with joy followed by horror! The watch stopped working at 23:59:59

And all the clocks in the house,for that matter!!!

Harry's heartbeats were approximately million in a second. He suddenly heard someone calling him and he approached the living room. He saw the television turned on automatically.His blood tided along his body with giant waves..He tried to calm himself down and sat on the couch, switched the channel, and he saw an illusion on the screen that dragged him into a graveyard and forced him into a rollercoaster ride without seatbelts.Then he fell with a thud on his couch, and his watch struck 23:59:00 again and exactly as he feared , everything repeated and he fell again on his couch, and it was 23:59:00 !
There was only a minute more for the horror treatment and he tried to stop his watch before it struck 23:59:59 but it wouldn't! Its needles kept moving like a ghost rider... It struck 23:59:59,the television started,the same graveyard,the same gripping ride,the same horror......
