An Angel's Hand
There's an angel in and around us, all the time
An Angel's Hand
by Teddy KimathiHe was only seventeen,
yet he tried to win
all battles life threw at him,
acting with manners of a whim.
One day, and old man caught
him as he sadly smoked pot.
So appalled by the boy's vanity,
he resolved to bring him sanity.
Today, the boy is a medical doctor,
thanks to the old man being a factor
to his life. Immortalized in his soul,
are ashes carried in a golden bowl.
