A Night to Ponder

Starry sky lit up with twinkling lights
The stars twinkles amidst my sight
As I gazed longingly at the distant sea
I feel poignant emotions overwhelming me.

Tonight when I am alone in my thoughts
and only the moon andthe stars know my thoughts
I would sit by the open field and feel
the essence and serenity of the night embracing me.

I remember some memories, memories from the past
I feel sad knowing those dreaming days don't last
And when I'm alone tonight
I would wish for the stars to shine brighter tonight.

As I sat here and ponder
under the starry sky and earth is somber
I feel lonely but strangely calm
as I let all my emotions inside me overcomes
every stress and worries that had come.

I remember a love lost, and new love found
I remember a life gone, another life safe and sound
I remember emotions that come and go
that makes those memories seemed cherished so.

I think of now and was glad
as I thought of this two innocent life I had
I thought of the days when I was mad
Thnking all of it makes me sad.

Night, you brought wonders into this world
you brought peacefulness and brought back memories so old
As I sat there and behold
your moon and stars shining so bold.
