A New Blank Page

by DavidBokolo
Travelling in time and space
Brought the pilgrim to an exit
Barricaded with an archaic code
Embossed on a transient lock

Wearied from a lengthy sojourn
Dusty and bruised from life’s encounter
It was a joyous and hopeful anticlimax
His wearied soul longs for a refreshing

Two obstacles to a wearied soul at
Zero level where a new fountain beckons
One moment of fright and puzzlement, but
Six sense of impulsive curiosity, he stretched
Forth a wearied hand, caressing the coded plane
As the clock chimed the midnight hour

And the lock was turned on the pilgrim part
Stretching out forth before him is a clean
New blank page embossed with golden words
Of two-zero-one-seven flickering hopefully
A blank page for the pilgrim’s new mile stone
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?

Too much love of the cat, they say, kills the moth. Most love relationship got broken as a result of wrongly managed petty frail nerves. Like as I love to say, just musing.
